Coming Soon

There are no concrete plans for any specific upcoming talks. If you have an idea or would like to make a presentation, please send a note the mailing list.

You're at the page for the Washington D.C. area Perl Mongers. We get together and talk about perl, teach one another new tricks of the trade and advocate the language wherever possible. Forays into other open-source areas have been known to happen. Have ideas for the web site? Let us know!

Our meetings (usually) go down on the first Tuesday of every month. However, THERE WILL BE NO MEETING SEPTEMBER 4, 2007.

If you plan to come and have not already done so, you should send a message to Nat Eiseman with your name/organization, email address and phone number. The security guard will check attendees in against a list so it's easier if you are on it. You can also send snail mail to Dr. N. J. Eiseman at the above address. Check the meeting logistics page for directions and a map.

If you'd like to talk about something, float your idea on the mailing list. You can also just show up with a great idea you'd like to tell everyone about. We're an easy audience, honest.

In addition to hosting the DC Perl Mongers monthly meetings, the American Geophysical Union (AGU) hosts the meeting of the Washington Area SGML/XML Users Group. They typically meet on the third Wednesday of the month at the AGU building at 2000 Florida Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC 20009-1277. The meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. and usually lasts approximately 2 hours. Note that this meeting starts a half hour earlier than the Perl Mongers meeting.
